Moving to Edutrust GDv4: What? How?
Synopsis
EduTrust (ET) Guidance Document Version 4.0 (GDv4) has been released and will take effect from 1 August 2023. GDv4 reorganises the ET standard, and places greater emphasis (one-third of the points) on the measurement and achievement of performance outcomes. What are the specific changes from GDv3 to GDv4? How can private education institutions (PEIs) go about adapting their documentation and practices to the changed requirements?
In this one-day workshop, participants will study the changes in the text of the specific requirements from GDv3 to GDv4, in order to develop a more detailed understanding of the enhanced standard. They will consider what these changes imply for the processes, practices, and documentation of their PEI. Participants will also consider what would be the relevant performance indicators (beyond the mandatory ones specified in GDv4) aligned to their ET documentation that could be used to demonstrate achievements in the four aspects of outcomes (student and graduate; service quality; operations; and people development).
