Educert Pte Ltd was founded in 2009, and is helmed by John Ooi, who is the Principal Consultant. Since its founding, John has been providing consultancy and training services to numerous PEIs, helping them to develop their quality assurance systems to achieve EduTrust certification. John previously served in the Singapore Polytechnic for 26 years. As Head of its Business Excellence Unit and Management Representative of the SQC (Singapore Quality Class) and ISO9000-certified institution, he played a major role in developing, documenting and running SP’s quality system.
John is a graduate of the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a first class honours Degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Engineering degree from the NUS, and a Master in Education degree from the University of Manchester. He was awarded the Public Administration Award (Bronze) by the President on National Day 2002 for his contributions.
